The Yorkshire League Team got their campaign off to a flying start versus Ormesby at Abbeydale on Saturday 5th November with a convincing 10 – 4 victory. Alex Marritt(pictured) was the star of the match with 4 wins from his 4 rubbers playing some top class badminton; his mixed success with partner Cristen Callow was a crushing victory and brought the all important 10th rubber which gave the team the extra bonus point for a 10+ victory. East Leeds are next up at Featherstone Sports Centre on Sunday 27th November
