Steve Parry added the European Gold to his world mixed winners medal.

The seniors tournament was played in Dundalk from the 27th September to the 2nd of October 2010. After easing through the first two rounds Parry and his partner Norman Wheatley came up against the number 2 seeds from Sweden Jonas Herrgård and Bengt Mellqvist. After a titanic battle the english pairing came through 28-26, 15-21, 22-20. Things got no easier in the semi's as Parry went to three again, this time against the Norwegian pairing of Morten Christensen and Jeanette Koldsø. The Englishmen eventually winning 21-14 in the 3rd. In the final Parry and Wheatley beat the Irish pairing of Graham Henderson and Michael Watt 21-11 21-18 to complete a fine tournament for the unseeded Eglishmen. Steve also had success in the mixed picking up a Bronze.

The other half to the family Parry also enjoyed success at the Europeans gaining two silvers in the doubles and mixed in the over 35's category.
